Kindness has been a life saver for me. fI’ve had a lifetime of knockdowns and had to pick myself up. Sometimes in my life there were people there to give me a hand to get back on my feet. When you come from a life of hardship, it can leave you scarred. It can leave you negative if you let it.
My blog is about seeing the positive side of life. Trying to learn from everything that has happened to me in my life and find the good in it. Life is so short, so why live it negatively? I would rather spend my life in the positive moments. I focus on finding the silver linings when I can.
So my mission of positivity also includes gratitude and kindness. I’ve tried so hard to spread that around to my friends, my family, and my online friends. If I can make one person feel good on a crappy day, or change their minds or their moods, or make them smile, I’ve done well.
I was so happy when Chris Read, a fellow blogger and someone I now call my friend asked me to be part of Kindness Canada.
What does being a Kindness Ambassador mean to me? Well I get to help sprinkle kindness dust all across Canada and further.
It’s exciting and it makes me smile. I am already doing this with my own blog, and now I get to do it even more with people I adore. We’re kind of like a Kindness Justice League. I am thrilled to think of all the things we can do, who we can help, how we can give them hope and smiles. The world needs more kindness, more hands helping people, more happiness.
Kindness is something that every person deserves. It’s something we all have in common, something we are all capable of. It threads us all together no matter where we live, no matter our race or religion, no matter how much money we have or don’t have; it’s universal to each and every one of us.
We all need it, we can all do it, and we can all share it with each other. More importantly we can all learn and teach kindness.
I’ve got my wings ready, kindness dust raring to go. How about you?
Stay Positive, Pampered & Kind.
